Week beginning 13th May

 Week beginning 13th May I was so sad to miss our school trip! But thanks to Mr Howard it all ran smoothly, and I was told that the children were amazing. I am sure they were tired when they got home! I hope to see you all very soon.  This week we have been:  In Phonics we been focusing on reading longer words, and practicing writing these every day too New tricky words in Phonics have been: out and today Nursery Listening time: blend from the box, new sound 'ff', recapping taught sounds, clapping out syllables.  Reception- In Maths we have been looking at shapes, and talking about their properties. Nursery - In Maths we have been looking at  continuing to look at 3D shapes Reception - In Drawing Club we have read 'Pirate Pete' which the children loved! Week beginning 7th May

 Week beginning 7th May With only 4 days in school. this week has flown by! As I am sure you are aware the children are VERY excited for their school trip next week! This week we have been:  In Phonics we been focusing on reading longer words, and practicing writing these every day too New tricky words in Phonics have been: there when Nursery Listening time: blend from the box, new sound 'f', recapping taught sounds, clapping out syllables.  Reception- In Maths we have been looking at taking away numbers, and how less means that the number gets smaller.  Nursery - In Maths we have been looking at 3D shapes, exploring cubes, cuboids and cylinders  Reception - In Drawing Club we have watched 'Trap Door' which the children found hilarious! Week beginning 30th April Another busy week here at school!
