Week beginning 28.11.22

Week beginning 7.11.22

  Week beginning 7.11.22 I hope you all had a wonderful break, the children told me all what they got up too :)  This week we have been  learning knew sounds - y, z zz, qu, ch  subitising to 5 and recognising different ways of showing a number  talking about remembrance day, creating poppies and talking about the importance of remembering  continuing to complete our challenges that are set out on the tables and getting house points  practicing cutting  reading with adults starting to independently use our taught phonics to write about what we draw  creating drawings of things to sell in our role play shop for next week Ways to help at home: read with your child(ren) 3 times a week minimum touch counting  recognising numbers and writing them  practice phonics, and blending sounds together picking words from their reading book for them to write, slowly sounding out the word for children to hear and write the sounds some fun phonics games -  https://www.topmarks.co.uk/Search.aspx?q=phonic

Week beginning 31.10.22
