Our learning WB 26.9.22

  Week beginning 26.09.22 What a wonderful week we have had! The children have shown me how well they have settled into their new routine and I have loved seeing their confidence grow and their personalities coming out. They really are all amazing! This week we have been  learning new sounds in phonics and remembering the previous ones - s a t p i n m d g o  c k  using ten frames and cubes to show numbers and continuing to consolidate one more than a number  learning our harvest poem for Church next week making our own inventions with junk modelling  practicing our letter formation  reading with adults trying something new each day Nursery: This week nursery children have been recognising their name and have been tracing over their names counting and singing counting songs going to the library for a story  playing listening games I hope you all have a lovely weekend :) Miss Lewis

 Week beginning 19.09.22 What a wonderful week we have had! I have been super proud of the reception children as they have started full time at school now.  This week we have been  learning new sounds in phonics - s a t p i n m d learning the importance of touch counting when we are counting, we have also been exploring one more and one less of a number  harvest making our creations for the harvest festival  exploring the outside area and trying new things  collecting leaves  finding fruit on the trees on the field and picking them for a healthy snack Nursery: This week nursery children have been practice recognising their name and have been tracing over their names exploring the outside area building obstacle courses  going on treasure hunts around the playground collecting leaves  finding fruit on the trees on the field and picking them for a healthy snack I hope you all had a lovely week and enjoy your weekend. I have taken some apples to the farm to give to the horses, I will share

Fine motor skills
